APRIL INTERNATIONAL TANGO LABORATORY

The First April International tango laboratory was held in 2006. Every year we invite teachers from different counties who give shows and classes during the festival. We present young stars full of energy and ideas who are ready to share their experience with their students. It's a great occasion to dance, to practice and to have lessons. Tango laboratory is a good opportunity to exchange ideas that's why it's called "the laboratory".

A lot of good and well knows dancers had taken part in the previous laboratories as teachers and performers: Dan Claramunt and Ruben Ramos, Sigrid Van Tilbeurgh and Kamel Rebai, Bruno, Gaston Torelli and Mariela Sametband, Esteban Cortez и Evelyn Rivera, Daniel Carlsson and Ana Solakis, Mazen Kiwan, Fausto Carpino and Veronica Toumanova.

During the 2nd tango laboratory two dance project were presented at the Theater Center "Na Strastnom": "5 Tangos Para Los Locos" and "Tango Project". In the year 2008 to the program of the festival was added a lection about the history of tango, most important tango orchestras and about tango traditions.
